What Happens During a Service with Guardian Safety

All Fire Extinguishers will receive a full and thorough examination each year.
33% of All extinguishers will be discharged, examined, and refilled.
As proof of discharge, a ring/tag will be placed over the head of water/powder extinguishers. As CO2 operates under
very high pressure the head is not removed, therefor a refill tag cannot be attached.
Broken parts will be replaced.
The safety seal on each extinguisher will be replaced with a different colour seal, which will be dated.
All extinguishers will be weighed.
Inspection labels are attached to the side of each extinguisher, these will be signed and dated.
Fire blankets will be inspected as part of the service, at no extra charge.
Loose fittings will be secured where necessary.
If signage is required we will advise you at the time of the service, there will be a charge for signage if it is needed.
At our discretion rather than pressure testing CO2 extinguishers, we will replace them with almost new or new CO2
extinguishers, at no extra charge to you, once we have established a working relationship.
