Ashleigh Contracts is a civil engineering contracting business owned and headed by two Directors - Stephen Trousdale and Philip Conacher.

Stephen originally formed the company in 1987 operating as a sole trader.

Stephen has a plant-based background and has a very high reputation with his expertise in rock armouring and civil engineering works throughout Ireland and has also undertaken marine contracts in England and Scotland.    

In April 2000 Ashleigh (N.I.) Ltd was registered as a Limited Company with the business continuing to trade as Ashleigh Contracts.

Philip joined the company as a shareholding Director in January 2002.    
Philip is a civil engineer who has had extensive experience in marine and general civil engineering works with leading Local and National Contractors.

Ashleigh Contracts have a well established reputation within the field of civil engineering and in particular on marine civil engineering contracts. A wide spectrum of contracts have been undertaken by the company ranging from coastal defences, dredging, piling, jetty and pontoon installation, general groundworks and pipeline installation as well as a variety of retaining wall structures.

The company has a wealth of experience in marine civil engineering contracts throughout Ireland and Scotland with some harbour works on remote island locations including the Aran Islands (Co. Galway) and the Orkneys.

Ashleigh Contracts operate a range of specialist plant and equipment including the widest range Long Reach Excavators in Ireland � along with the latest 3D GPS machine control systems on these machines, the company has a unique capability of undertaking the most specialised of marine contracts with efficiency and accuracy. In addition the company has a number of modular pontoon Barges which complement the fleet of plant and equipment for carrying out dredging and piling works in harbours and marinas. The company also has the capability for the providing in-house Autocad 3D modelling for downloading onto the machine control systems for construction of the works as well as for surveying and volumetric analysis of completed works.
